Telling a cohesive, satisfying story is extremely difficult for writers, and it's even more challenging for improvisers who must do it on the fly, in a group setting, and without "rewrites"! The process is a focused, mindful team effort. Still, each of us likely possesses a particular storytelling strength. If that strength is known by all members of a troupe, this knowledge can be harnessed at the right time in any given game. I'm confident in identifying conflict and the character(s)'s objective/goal as a result of this conflict. I also feel comfortable finding the end of the scene or a reasonable way to get there.
