IN-PERSON Event for KIDS, Ages 9-12
Landing a TV or film audition is exciting, but it can also be anxiety-inducing. New and experienced actors alike often struggle with how to approach a new script or character. With the right insight and tools, actors will discover a sense of ease and comfort in their audition choices and performance.
This TV/Film Audition Intensive will cover:
•The various types of TV & Film auditions and what each expects of actors.
•How to read and break down scripts using our step-by-step guide.
•Memorization Techniques for Lines and Blocking.
•Character choices and Detailed "Moment" work
•Important Auditioning Do's and Don'ts
•Mock Auditions, using real industry scripts, that get actors on their feet and more comfortable with the diversities of the auditioning process.
•The Art of the Audition - How to Make it Your Own in this crowded field.

About the Instructors:
Neil Mulac (Owner, Everything Cinema Productions), is a professional actor, filmmaker, screenwriter, and teacher. He is an alumnus of the University of Louisville, where he studied both Theatre and English. Neil has appeared in numerous plays, music videos, commercials, films, and television projects, including the Hallmark channel's original film, An Uncommon Grace, and the award-winning short film, Like Fiction. He has also co-hosted and instructed a wide variety of acting classes and workshops including, Improv for On-Camera Auditions, Intro to Physical Comedy, Accessing Emotions for Actors, and most recently, Film Acting Summer Camp.
Sarah East (Owner and Instructor at House of Auditions - formerly The Audition Room) is a working actor, casting director, and member of the Screen Actors Guild. She’s worked as an Audition Coordinator and Acting Coach with the area's largest talent agency and production companies, learning the casting process from the inside out. As an actor, she’s worked in commercials and as a tv spokesperson for over 10 years and was a finalist to be a QVC host. In this workshop, Sarah brings her knowledge and creativity to the table to help actors make the right impression in commercials and host auditions.
