About the Event
Step into the world of high-stakes television drama with SCENE STUDY LAB: ACTING FOR PROCEDURAL TV — a new 4-week acting intensive presented by Everything Cinema Productions and The Audition Room.
Designed for adult actors of all experience levels, this immersive lab focuses on the craft of performing in TV procedurals, including law enforcement, medical, and emergency-response storytelling. Through grounded scene work, improv-informed exercises, and professional script analysis, actors will develop the tools needed to bring authenticity, urgency, and emotional truth to the screen.
This is more than a traditional acting class. It’s a collaborative, hands-on environment where actors sharpen their listening, strengthen partner connection, and learn how to navigate the unique pacing and realism of modern procedural television.
Throughout the course, students will:
• Work on scripted procedural scenes with scene partners
• Explore co-star and guest star television roles
